This basket is tightly woven with split bamboo. It featured a domed lid, handle with ring, and beautiful craftsmanship.
These baskets were traditionally used to bring treats & gifts to weddings.
Afterwards, the baskets were used for other purposes, such as sewing, storage, & even carrying grain.
